Testimonials

What They Say

WNS is home away from home for my children. I feel secure having my kids there. There is also the holistic approach to learning meaning, emotional, spiritual, physical, social, and academia, hence the perfect preparation for the kids to face life on their own later.

John Doe

I appreciate how proactive the teachers are in communicating, my children love the school, their teachers and classmates. I like the school's intentionality around maturing my children not only academically and spiritually, but also the deliberate efforts around social and emotional learning. My son has benefited tremendously from his interactions with the school counselor and elementary principal specifically around discipline issues.

John Doe

I love the ``community approach`` at WNS where everyone is part of the Rhino community, the Christian oriented teaching and the constant development of infrastructure around the school.

🎓  Today #Classof2024 🌟 Senior Spotlight!🌟 is on Adout Monydhel!

I joined WNS for my senior year. My mother had a job opportunity that she couldn’t turn down and so, we moved to Nairobi.  Before, I lived in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. The difference is definitely the diversity and community. I’ve always gone to predominately white schools which served as a different experience. The WNS campus is very different.    Being able to walk out of a class and being hit with fresh air gave me a different outlook.  The nature that surrounds WNS serves as a feeling of serenity and peace.

I have enjoyed my short time here. I realized quickly that WNS is a full community, all parts of the school are integrated together and represent the true meaning of a family. I couldn’t tell which grade was what because everybody is friends with everyone, students embrace each other. My first Semester I was happy to be a part of Rhino Stampede News serving as a broadcaster for the sports section, then switched over to Pottery Club second semester which brought me more experience in working with my creativity within using clay.

I’ll miss the community, though I haven’t been here much. I’ve been welcomed very kindly and feel that I have gotten close with many and that I am honored to be able to share bonds with many.

My advice to incoming freshmen would be:  Being yourself unapologetically gets you far. Even if you’re shy or nervous it’s good to break out of your shell, because you will not only enjoy your time in high school, but you’ll find who truly cares for you and your personality, and through that you’ll find friends for a lifetime.

After graduating I plan to  attend Metropolitan College in Omaha, returning back to my city. I chose this college due to my major of choice. I found that getting a 2- year degree will help me chase my goals faster.  I want to be a NICU nurse because I have always been fascinated by the body and how  it works.

Congratulations Adout!! we are so proud of you! Now- go and be salt and light at the Metropolitan College! Go Rhino!!!
